Praying from Matthew 19:6. Themes: Marriage, Unity, Divorce.
Dear God, we thank you for the gift of marriage and for the union of two individuals becoming one flesh. We pray that you would strengthen the bond between husband and wife and help them to always remember that it is you who has joined them together. May they never allow any man or circumstance to tear them apart. We ask for your guidance and wisdom to navigate any challenges that may arise in their marriage and for your grace to sustain them through all seasons of life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
Matthew 19:6
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not let man tear apart what God has joined together.
