Praying from Mark 4:17. Themes: Persecution, Oppression, Faith
Dear Lord, please help me to have deep roots in you so that I may withstand any oppression or persecution that may come my way because of your word. May I not be short-lived in my faith, but rather may it be strong and unwavering. Please give me the strength and courage to stand firm in the face of adversity and to never stumble. Amen.
Verse: They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
Mark 4:17
This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader to ensure they have a strong foundation in their faith so that they do not stumble when faced with oppression or persecution because of their beliefs.
