Prayer based on Psalms 43:2. Themes: Suffering, Trust, Deliverance.

Dear God, I thank you for being the God of my strength. I know that you are always with me and that you will never leave me nor forsake me. However, I am feeling rejected and oppressed by the enemy. I am mourning and struggling to find peace in my heart. But I claim your promise that you are my strength and my refuge. I trust in your unfailing love and your power to overcome any obstacle. Please help me to stand firm in my faith and to keep my eyes fixed on you. I know that you will never let me down and that you will always be my rock and my salvation. Thank you for your grace and your mercy. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: For you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Psalms 43:2

This is a Promise. The verse expresses the psalmist’s lament and questioning of God’s apparent rejection despite acknowledging God as their source of strength.
