Praying from Mark 4:19. Themes: Cares, Deceitfulness, Lusts
Dear Lord, please help me to not be consumed by the cares of this age, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things. May these distractions not choke the word that you have planted in my heart, but instead, may it bear fruit and bring glory to your name. Help me to prioritize your word above all else and to seek your kingdom first. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Mark 4:19
This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader to be cautious of the distractions and temptations of the world that can prevent them from living a fruitful life according to the word of God.
