Dear Lord, we come before you today with humble hearts, just as the people of Judea and Jerusalem went out to John the Baptist. We ask that you cleanse us of our sins and baptize us in your Holy Spirit. May we confess our wrongdoings and turn away from them, seeking your forgiveness and guidance. Help us to live a life that is pleasing to you and to follow your will in all that we do. We thank you for your love and mercy, and we pray that you continue to bless us and guide us on our journey. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: All the country of Judea and all those of Jerusalem went out to him. They were baptized by him in the Jordan river, confessing their sins.
