Dear Lord Jesus, help me to understand the weight of my requests and desires. Help me to recognize that following you requires sacrifice and commitment. Give me the strength and courage to drink from the cup that you drank and to be baptized with the same baptism that you were baptized with. Help me to trust in your plan for my life and to follow you faithfully. Amen.

This is a Command. The command is for the reader to consider whether they are able to drink the cup and be baptized with the same baptism as Jesus.
