Dear Lord, as I journey through this life, I pray that I may be like the man traveling to another country, leaving my house and giving authority to my servants. Help me to recognize the tasks you have given me and to fulfill them with diligence and faithfulness. May I also be mindful of the importance of keeping watch, just as the doorkeeper was commanded to do. Grant me the wisdom and discernment to recognize the opportunities you place before me and the courage to act on them. Thank you for your guidance and provision, and may I always seek to honor and glorify you in all that I do. Amen.
