Dear Lord Jesus, as I look around at the world and see the abundance of wealth and material possessions, I am reminded of your words to your disciples. I pray that you would help me to not be attached to the things of this world, but to seek first your kingdom and righteousness. Help me to be content with what I have and to use my resources to bless others and further your kingdom. May I never allow my riches to hinder me from entering into your kingdom. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for showing us the way to true riches in you. Amen.

Verse: Jesus looked around and said to his disciples,“How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!”
Mark 10:23
