Dear Lord, we come before you as soldiers seeking guidance. We ask, what must we do? Please help us to remember your words, to extort from no one by violence, and to never accuse anyone wrongfully. Help us to be content with the wages we receive, and to always act with integrity and honor. We pray for your protection and guidance as we serve our country and our fellow man. Amen.
Verse: Soldiers also asked him, saying, “What about us? What must we do?” He said to them, “Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages.”

This is a Command. The soldiers are commanded to not extort or wrongfully accuse anyone and to be content with their wages.
