Praying from James 5:4 relating to Justice, Labor, Fraud

Dear Lord of Armies,

We come before you humbly, acknowledging that we have not always treated our fellow laborers justly. We ask for your forgiveness for any fraud or deceit we may have committed in withholding their rightful wages.

We pray that you would hear the cries of those who have been wronged and that you would bring justice to their situation. May we be reminded that every person is made in your image and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Help us to be honest and fair in all our dealings with others, and to always seek to do what is right in your eyes. Thank you for your mercy and grace, and for hearing our prayers.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen.

Verse: Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.
James 5:4

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to behold and acknowledge the cries of the laborers who have been cheated out of their wages.
