Dear Lord, as we read about the women who returned and prepared spices and ointments, we are reminded of their love and devotion to you. Help us to have that same love and devotion in our own lives. May we always be willing to serve you and prepare ourselves for your coming. And on the Sabbath, may we rest and honor your commandment. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.
