Praying from Luke 23:46. Themes: Surrender, Trust, Death
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I come before you today, I am reminded of the promise that Jesus made as he breathed his last breath on the cross. He cried out with a loud voice, committing his spirit into your hands.
Lord, I claim this promise for myself today. I commit my life, my hopes, my dreams, and my fears into your loving hands. I trust that you will guide me and lead me on the path that you have set before me.
Thank you for the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross, so that I may have eternal life. Help me to live my life in a way that honors you and brings glory to your name.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
