Prayer based on Luke 22:42. Themes: Surrender, Will of God, Redemption.
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I come before you today, I am reminded of the words of Jesus when he prayed, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” I too, Lord, come before you with my own requests and desires, but I recognize that your will is greater than mine.
Father, I ask that you would help me to surrender my will to yours. Help me to trust in your plan for my life, even when it may be difficult or uncomfortable. Give me the strength to endure any trials or challenges that come my way, knowing that you are with me every step of the way.
Thank you, Lord, for your love and grace. May your will be done in my life, now and always.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: saying,“Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
