Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word that one day we will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. I pray that I may be counted among those who will witness this glorious event and be welcomed into your kingdom. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you so that I may be ready for your return. Thank you for the hope and assurance that you have given us through your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
