Dear Lord,
I claim the promise that you have given us in your word. You have said that the sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes. I trust in your word and believe that you will fulfill this promise.
As I wait for your return, I pray that you will help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. May I be found faithful when you come back to take us home. Help me to be a light in this dark world and to share your love with those around me.
Thank you for the hope that we have in you. I look forward to the day when we will see you face to face and be with you forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
