Dear Lord, I pray that I may never find myself in a situation where I owe a debt that I cannot pay. Help me to be responsible with my finances and to always live within my means. If I do find myself in debt, I pray for the strength and resources to pay it off completely. May I never be trapped in a cycle of debt and may I always be a good steward of the resources you have given me. Amen.
Verse: I tell you, you will by no means get out of there until you have paid the very last penny.”
Luke 12:59
This is a Command. The verse is a warning from Jesus to his listeners that they will not be able to escape the consequences of their actions until they have fully paid for them.
