Dear Lord, may we be like the Good Samaritan who came to the wounded man and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Help us to have a heart of compassion and kindness towards those who are hurting and in need. May we be willing to go out of our way to help others, even if it means sacrificing our own time and resources. Give us the strength and courage to be a light in the darkness and to show your love to those around us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
