Prayer based on Luke 10:35. Themes: Compassion, Responsibility, Generosity.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the promise that you will repay us when we take care of those in need. Just as the Good Samaritan took out two denarii and gave them to the host to take care of the wounded man, we pray that you will provide us with the resources to help those who are hurting and in need.

We claim this promise and ask that you guide us in our efforts to care for others. May we be generous with our time, talents, and resources, knowing that you will repay us when we return.

Help us to be like the Good Samaritan, showing compassion and love to those who are hurting. May we be your hands and feet in this world, bringing hope and healing to those who need it most.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘ Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’
Luke 10:35

This is a Promise. The speaker promises to repay the host for any additional expenses incurred in caring for the injured person.
