Dear Lord, please help me to always be faithful and prepared for your coming. May I never be caught off guard or unprepared for your return. Please give me the strength and wisdom to live a life that is pleasing to you, and to always be ready to meet you when you come. Help me to be a faithful servant, and to never be cut in two or placed with the unfaithful. Thank you for your love and mercy, and for the promise of eternal life with you. Amen.

Verse: then the lord of that servant will come in a day when he isn’t expecting him and in an hour that he doesn’t know, and will cut him in two, and place his portion with the unfaithful.
