Prayer based on John 8:9. Themes: Conviction, Forgiveness, Grace.

Dear Lord, may we always be open to hearing your truth and be convicted by our conscience when we fall short. Help us to have the courage to repent and turn away from our sins, just as those who heard your words did. May we never be too proud to admit our faults and seek forgiveness. And in those moments when we feel alone and ashamed, may we remember that you are always with us, just as you were with the woman in the middle. Amen.

Verse: They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.
John 8:9

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to be convicted by their conscience and to repent of their sins.
