Dear Lord, I come before you today with a repentant heart, acknowledging my sins and shortcomings. I claim the promise that you have given us in your word, that when we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Just as you said to the woman in the Bible, “Your sins are forgiven,” I believe that you have forgiven me of my sins. Thank you for your grace and mercy that covers me. Help me to walk in your ways and live a life that honors you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
