Dear God, please help me to communicate my thoughts and feelings clearly to those around me. May my words be heard and understood by those who listen. Grant me the patience and wisdom to speak in a way that resonates with others and allows them to truly hear my message. Amen.

Verse: Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word.
John 8:43

This is a Command. The verse is a rebuke to the reader for not understanding God’s speech because they are not truly listening to His word. The command is to listen more closely to God’s word in order to gain understanding.
