Dear God, I pray that you would help me to love Jesus more and more each day. I know that if you were truly my father, my love for Jesus would be evident. I believe that Jesus came from you and was sent by you to save me. Help me to understand this truth more deeply and to live my life in a way that honors and glorifies you. Thank you for sending Jesus to be my Savior. Amen.

John 8:42

This is a Command. The command is to love Jesus if God is truly the reader’s father.
