Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your unconditional love for me. I claim the promise that you love me because I have loved your Son, Jesus Christ, and have believed that he came from you. Help me to continue to love and believe in Jesus, and to live a life that honors and glorifies you. Thank you for your never-ending love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God.
John 16:27

This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that the Father loves them because they have loved Jesus and believed in his divine origin.
