Father, I thank you for your great love for your Son, Jesus Christ. I claim the promise that you have given all things into his hand. I trust that everything in my life is under his control and that he will work all things together for my good. Help me to trust in him and to follow his lead in all things. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance that I am safe in your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that the Father loves the Son and has given him all things. There is no command given to the reader.
