Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise of the Holy Spirit that you have given to those who believe in you. I claim this promise today and ask that you fill me with your Spirit. I know that the Holy Spirit was not yet given until Jesus was glorified, but now that he has been glorified, I ask that you pour out your Spirit upon me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to be a witness for your kingdom. Thank you for your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

John 7:39
