Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given us in your Scripture that the Christ comes from the offspring of David and from Bethlehem, the village where David was. I claim this promise today and trust in your faithfulness to fulfill it. May I always remember that you are a God who keeps your promises and that you have a plan for my life. Help me to trust in your plan and to follow your will. Thank you for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, who came to save us and fulfill this promise. In His name, I pray. Amen.
