Dear Lord, I thank you for choosing David as your servant and taking him from the sheepfolds. I claim this promise for myself today, that you will also choose me and take me from my current situation. I trust that you have a plan for my life and that you will guide me towards it. Help me to be faithful in the small things, just as David was faithful in tending to his sheep. May I be ready and willing to follow wherever you lead me. Thank you for your love and grace towards me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
