Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us through your son Jesus Christ, who testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. I pray that you would help me to remember this truth as I go about my daily life, and that I would not be discouraged by the lack of recognition or appreciation from those around me. Instead, I pray that I would find my worth and value in you alone, and that I would continue to faithfully serve you and share your love with others, regardless of the response I receive. Thank you for your promise and your faithfulness, and may I always trust in your plan for my life. Amen.
