Dear Lord, I claim the promise that many Samaritans believed in you because of the word of the woman who testified that you told her everything she had done. I pray that my testimony of your goodness and grace will also lead many to believe in you. Help me to be bold in sharing my faith and to trust that you will use my words to draw others to you. Thank you for the power of your word and the way it transforms lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, “He told me everything that I have done.”

This is a Promise. The verse is describing how many Samaritans believed in Jesus because of the woman’s testimony about him. There is no command given to the reader.
