Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that he who has the bride is the bridegroom, and that as a friend of the bridegroom, I can stand and hear your voice. I pray that I may always rejoice greatly because of your voice and that my joy may be made full. Help me to always be a faithful friend of the bridegroom and to stand by your side, listening to your voice and following your will. May my life be a reflection of your love and grace, and may I always find joy in your presence. Thank you for this promise, and I claim it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Verse: He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore my joy is made full.
