Prayer based on Proverbs 18:24. Themes: Friendship, Loyalty, Betrayal

Dear Lord,

I come before you today, acknowledging that I am in need of a friend who sticks closer than a brother. I know that having many companions may lead to ruin, but I trust in your promise that there is a friend who will always be there for me.

I pray that you would bring such a friend into my life, someone who will stand by me through thick and thin, who will support me in my struggles and celebrate with me in my victories. I ask that you would bless our friendship with love, trust, and loyalty, and that we would be a source of encouragement and strength to each other.

Thank you for your faithfulness, Lord, and for the promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me. I claim this promise today, and I trust that you will provide me with the friend I need. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
