Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a humble heart, acknowledging that everything I have and everything I am is a gift from you. I claim the promise in John’s words that nothing can be received unless it has been given from heaven.
I trust in your provision and your plan for my life. I know that every good and perfect gift comes from you, and I thank you for your abundant blessings.
Help me to always remember that I am completely dependent on you, and that everything I have is a gift from your loving hand. May I use these gifts to glorify you and serve others, and may I always give you the honor and praise that you deserve.
Thank you for your faithfulness and your love. I trust in your promises and your provision, and I pray this in Jesus’ name.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that everything a person receives is given to them from heaven.
