Praying from James 1:13 relating to Temptation, God’s nature.

Dear God, please help me to remember that when I am tempted, it is not from you. You cannot be tempted by evil, and you do not tempt anyone. Please give me the strength and wisdom to resist temptation and to turn to you for guidance and support. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
James 1:13

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader not to blame God for their temptations, as God cannot be tempted by evil and does not tempt anyone.
