Praying from Hebrews 5:6 relating to Priesthood, Melchizedek, Forever.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have made to us through your word. As it is written in another place, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.” I claim this promise today and declare that you are my eternal priest. I trust in your unfailing love and your unchanging nature. I pray that you will continue to guide me and lead me in the path of righteousness. May your grace and mercy be upon me always, and may I never forget the promise that you have made to me. Thank you for being my faithful and everlasting priest. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is a reference to Psalm 110:4 and is a promise that Jesus will be a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.
