Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you discipline and chastise every son whom you receive. I pray that you would help me to receive your discipline with humility and obedience, knowing that it is a sign of your love for me. Please help me to learn from my mistakes and to grow in wisdom and maturity through your correction. Thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness, and for the assurance that you will never leave me or forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
