Dear Lord, please help me to be open to discipline and correction. I pray that I may not be stubborn or prideful, but willing to learn and grow. May I never refuse discipline, for I know that poverty and shame come to those who do. Instead, may I heed correction and be honored in your eyes. Thank you for your guidance and love. Amen.

Verse: Poverty and shame come to him who refuses discipline, but he who heeds correction shall be honored.
Proverbs 13:18
