Praying from Hebrews 11:5 relating to Faith, Translation, Pleasing to God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart full of faith and trust in your promises. Just as Enoch was taken away by faith and did not see death, I claim that promise for myself and my loved ones. I believe that you are a God who keeps your promises and that you will do the same for me.

I pray that just as Enoch was well pleasing to you before his translation, I too will live a life that is pleasing to you. Help me to walk in faith and obedience, and to always seek your will in all that I do.

Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the promise of eternal life with you. I trust in your goodness and mercy, and I know that you will never leave me nor forsake me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: By faith Enoch was taken away, so that he wouldn’t see death, and he was not found, because God translated him. For he has had testimony given to him that before his translation he had been well pleasing to God.
Hebrews 11:5

This is a Promise. The verse is describing how Enoch was taken away by God without experiencing death, and that he had been pleasing to God before his translation. There is no command given to the reader.
