Praying from Hebrews 11:13 relating to Faith, Promises, Pilgrimage

Dear Lord, I thank you for the faith of those who have gone before us, who believed in your promises even though they did not receive them in their lifetime. I pray that I too may have such unwavering faith, to see and embrace your promises from afar. Help me to confess that I am a stranger and pilgrim on this earth, and that my true home is with you. I claim the promise that you have prepared a place for me in your kingdom, and I trust in your faithfulness to fulfill all your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Hebrews 11:13

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that those who died in faith did not receive the promises, but they saw and embraced them from afar. The promise is that the faithful will receive the promises of God, even if they do not receive them in this life.
