Prayer based on Acts 7:6. Themes: Alienation, Oppression, Promise
Dear God, I thank you for the promise that you spoke to our ancestors, that your offspring would live as aliens in a strange land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated for four hundred years. I claim this promise for myself and for my loved ones, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill your word. I trust that even in the midst of trials and hardships, you will be with us and guide us through. Help us to remain steadfast in our faith and to trust in your plan for our lives. Thank you for your love and provision. Amen.

This is a Promise.
The verse is a prophecy about the Israelites being enslaved in Egypt for 400 years. It is not a command to the reader.
