Dear God, I thank you for the promise you made to bring salvation to Israel through the offspring of this man. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who believe in you. May we always trust in your faithfulness and rely on your grace to guide us on our journey of faith. Thank you for the gift of salvation and for the hope it brings to our lives. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

The verse is stating that God has fulfilled his promise to bring salvation to Israel through the offspring of a particular man. There is no command given to the reader.
