Prayer based on Acts 3:18. Themes: Suffering, Fulfillment.
Dear God, I thank you for fulfilling the promise that you announced through all your prophets, that Christ should suffer. I claim this promise for myself and ask that you help me to understand the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the love that you have for me. May I always remember that through his suffering, I have been redeemed and forgiven. Thank you for your faithfulness and for fulfilling your promises. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
Acts 3:18
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God fulfilled the prophecies about Christ suffering that were spoken by the prophets. There is no command given to the reader.
