Prayer based on Acts 15:2. Themes: Unity, Conflict, Leadership
Dear Lord, we come before you today with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of your word. We thank you for the example of Paul and Barnabas, who despite their differences, were willing to seek your guidance and wisdom. We pray that you would help us to follow their example, to seek unity and understanding even in the midst of disagreement.
Lord, we ask that you would guide us as we face difficult questions and decisions. Help us to seek out wise counsel and to listen to the voices of those around us. Give us the courage to speak up when we need to, and the humility to listen when others speak.
We pray for your guidance and wisdom as we seek to follow your will. Help us to discern the truth and to act in accordance with your word. And may our actions always be guided by love and a desire to serve you.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
