Prayer based on John 15:24. Themes: Sin, Works, Hatred
Dear Lord, I thank you for the works you have done among us, which no one else could have done. I claim the promise that if you hadn’t done these works, we wouldn’t have had sin. But now we have seen and known you, and we have the opportunity to love you and follow you. Help us to love you and your Father with all our hearts, and to never hate you or turn away from you. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the promise of eternal life with you. Amen.
Verse: If I hadn’t done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn’t have had sin. But now they have seen and also hated both me and my Father.
John 15:24
This is a Promise. The verse states that if Jesus had not performed miraculous works, the people would not have sinned by rejecting him and his Father.
