Dear Lord, please help us to always give you the glory and honor that you deserve. May we never become prideful or arrogant, but always recognize that everything we have comes from you. Please forgive us when we fall short and help us to turn back to you. We pray that we may never suffer the consequences of not giving you the glory, like the man who was struck by an angel and eaten by worms. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Amen.

Verse: Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he didn’t give God the glory. Then he was eaten by worms and died.
Acts 12:23
