Dear Lord, just as you sent an angel to stand by Peter and bring light into his cell, I pray that you will send your angels to stand by me and bring light into my life. Wake me up from my slumber and help me to stand up quickly, just as Peter did. Break the chains that bind me and set me free to serve you with all my heart. Thank you for your constant presence and love. Amen.

Verse: And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, “Stand up quickly!” His chains fell off his hands.
