Dear Lord, we thank you for the commandment to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that you give us the strength and courage to follow through with this commandment and to publicly declare our faith in you. We also ask that you bless us with the opportunity to spend time with you and learn more about your teachings, just as the disciples asked you to stay with them. May we always seek your presence and guidance in our lives. Amen.
