Prayer based on Acts 10:28. Themes: Inclusion, Law, Revelation.
Dear God,
You have shown us that we should not call any man unholy or unclean. We know that it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but you have made it clear that we are all equal in your eyes.
We claim the promise that you have given us, that we should not judge others based on their race or nationality. Help us to see each other as brothers and sisters, and to treat each other with love and respect.
Thank you for showing us the way, and for reminding us that we are all part of your family. May we always remember this promise and live it out in our daily lives.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
Verse: He said to them, “You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any man unholy or unclean.
