Prayer based on Psalms 147:20. Themes: God’s sovereignty, Praise, Ordinances.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and praise. I thank you for choosing us as your people and for not doing this for just any nation. I am grateful that you have given us the privilege to know your ordinances and to live according to your will. I claim the promise that you have made to us and I pray that you will continue to guide us and lead us in the path of righteousness. May we always be faithful to you and may we always seek your will in all that we do. Thank you for your love and mercy, and for the blessings that you have bestowed upon us. We give you all the praise and honor, now and forevermore. Amen.

Verse: He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise Yah!
Psalms 147:20

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God has not shown his favor to just any nation, and that those who do not know his ordinances should praise him.
