Praying from 2 Peter 2:3 relating to Deception, Judgment, Destruction.
Father God, I come before you today claiming the promise that the sentence of those who exploit us with deceptive words will not linger. I pray that you would protect us from the covetousness of others and give us discernment to recognize when we are being taken advantage of. I trust in your promise that their destruction will not slumber and that justice will be served. Thank you for being a just and righteous God who always keeps your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.
2 Peter 2:3
This is a Promise. The verse is warning the reader that those who exploit others with deceptive words will eventually face destruction, which has been foretold since ancient times and will not be delayed.
